Professional experience
He has combined clinical practice in both the public and private healthcare sectors in Spain since 1995, at various centres in Valencia, Barcelona and Castellón. In 2013 he was recruited to set up the Vascular Surgery Departments of two hospital complexes in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), in both the private and government sectors, where he served as Head of the Vascular Surgery Department and Head of the Chronic Wound Care Unit until the end of 2017.
Back in Valencia since late 2017, he combines super-specialisation in minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of varicose veins (laser, sclerotherapy, radiofrequency…) with an aesthetic-medicine perspective, bringing the highest standards of care to his patients.

Spider veins are dilatations of the capillaries within the skin (much smaller and more superficial than varicose veins). The exact cause of their appearance is unknown, although genetic and hormonal factors seem to be involved, leading to irreversible failure of the valves in these veins.
